In pairs, use common household items to build a model of a working enzyme. Your enzyme MUST demonstrate the following:
1) Normal enzyme function
2) Competitive inhibition
3) Non-competitive inhibition
You must include a brochure with your enzyme. It will have CLEAR step-by-step instructions of how to demonstrate the 3 functions/activities of your enzyme.
Make sure to label all components of your enzyme (i.e. active site, substrate A and b etc.)
Finally, your enzyme must be handed IN A BOX.
Below is a rubric for your enzyme project. Refer to this to identify where you marks are allocated.
